For Giving, that's who we are

End of days ponderings:

I feel kind of alone
Going to classes and such,
It's just one of those things
That I enjoyed very much,
Sharing moments of learning
Perhaps I'm just such a geek,
Feeling a need for expansion
If only just a peek.

Rubbing shoulders with colleagues
Over the years,
We all got a little older
And shed a few tears,
As we all are wont to do
On this human path of living,
And hopefully we have acquired
More capacity for giving.
