Remember a time, back in the day, when there was a public outcry to save the trees (oh, so you don't know what trees are?!?) because we wasted so much paper. I had to speak out.

The Paper Caper

I really have to wonder
About a lab that's sending,
Frequent test results
Identified as pending,
I think of all the trees
And all the wasted lumber,
To manufacture paper
That doesn't have a number,
It can't be cost effective
But no one's losing sleep,
They spend so much on paper
Their wallets must be deep,
I have a small suggestion
Stop wasting all that paper,
Award me with the refund
In this money saving caper.

Dear nurse person,
I think you are a good poet. I liked the paper caper. The thought had crossed my mind that we could be a paperless society. I think that we would use a lot of plastics to replace the paper.
